Love is Love is LOVE (and You’re Included)

Love is Love is LOVE (and You’re Included)

Valentine’s Day is here, and yes… there’s a lot of buzz, pressure, and, let’s be honest, a little hoopla. And while I love celebrating love (you know I do), sometimes I wish we could all just chill and embrace love all year long.

Here’s the thing: Valentine’s Day isn’t just for couples. It’s for love—the love you share, the love you’re building, and the love you’re learning to give yourself without apology. So today, let’s talk about being LOVE ready, and showing yourself some affection, no matter your relationship status. 💕

1. Speak Your Own Love Language

When’s the last time you treated yourself in a way that truly resonates with YOU? Whether you’re single, partnered, dating, or “it’s complicated,” take a moment to indulge in your personal love language. Then, if you want, you can share it with someone else.

Words: Write a feel-good note to yourself and tuck it somewhere you’ll find later.
Touch: Book a massage, enjoy a hot shower, or use self-care products you love.
Quality Time: Put your phone down for an hour and do something you genuinely enjoy, guilt-free.
Acts of Service: Do one thing your future self will thank you for (yes, laundry counts).
Gifts: Buy yourself something special—no shame, no second guessing.

2. Decide How Valentine’s Day Makes You Feel

Not everyone loves Valentine’s Day—and that’s okay.

  • If you enjoy it: Lean in! Celebrate the day however feels good, and yes, I’ve got your sexy-time product game covered.

  • If you don’t: Make a plan that brings you joy. Invite a friend for an evening out, or create the perfect night in. Avoid dwelling on negatives or “what ifs.” How you feel is within your control, so own it and enjoy the day on your terms. 🙌

3. Celebrate With a Partner (Without the Pressure)

If you’re celebrating with a partner but dread the expectations, keep it simple, fun, and low-stress:

  • Set the scene: Low lights, music on, phones away.

  • Make a yes list: Each of you shares 1–2 things that sound fun—keep it easy.

  • Bring a little extra fun: Have lube, a toy, or even a piece of lingerie handy.

What NOT to bring: Expectations. Nothing kills a vibe faster than assumptions. Release them, and just enjoy your time together—or with yourself.

Valentine’s Day is about love in all its forms—self-love, friendship, and romantic love. So this February, let’s celebrate it the way that feels right for you.

Much love for Love Month! 💖
